After Disaster, Director Stops Production!

It has become increasingly common for Indian directors to turn producers and make more content while they produce films. The same formula was applied by Tamil director Atlee who is one of the most talented commercial cinema directors in South Indian Cinema.

After the blockbuster success of Jawan, Atlee took the responsibility of producing more films in the due course, and even launched his own production house with the name A For Apple. He intended to do multiple films under his production and even announced a few of them.

However, things did not work out for the Director as he delivered an epic disaster in the form of Baby John, which he monitored the script and co produced. It turned out that the epic disaster performance of this film moved him away from production for the time being.

Apparently, the director has now decided to momentarily his upcoming project with actors, Vijay Sethupathi and Shahid Kapoor. He had even announced a film with young Bollywood actor, Veer Pahariya. Both these films are now stalemate condition as does not know how to take them forward or whether to take them forward in the first place.

It is heard that the talented Director is currently focused only on making quality films under his direction, and he is least bothered about his production activities.

If the director does not make a strong comeback with his next film with Allu Arjun, then his whole reputation will be in Japan and later on producing film, he might find it hard to even secure the dates of big stars.

But considering the fact that he is a talented and smart Director, we can expect him to deliver an absolute winning film with Allu Arjun.
