Atlee To Become A Producer In Telugu!

Star director Atlee started as an assistant director to Shankar and made his debut as a filmmaker with 'Raja Rani'. He instantly became a star director by delivering blockbuster commercial movies like 'Theri', 'Bigil', and 'Mersal'. Despite being criticized for his lack of novelty and constantly being accused of copying other's content, he kept giving super hits.

He went to Bollywood and delivered a 1000-crore film like 'Jawan' with Shah Rukh Khan. He is yet to begin his next movie but he is donning a new role soon. He became a producer by floating 'A for Apple Studios' banner. He recently revealed that he is planning to bankroll 4 films in this banner. The first one to arrive is a Hindi film starring Varun Dhawan and Keerthy Suresh in the lead roles. It is a Hindi remake of Atlee's own hit film 'Theri'.

He added that he is eager to produce a Telugu film and two Tamil movies. While he is yet to reveal the details, sources say that we can soon see Atlee as a producer in Tollywood as well. There is a lot of talk going on that Atlee might be directing Icon Star Allu Arjun soon. The rumours are quite strong but the official news is yet to come out. Let us wait and see if Allu Arjun & Atlee team up after 'Pushpa: The Rule' hits the screens or not.
