Rajamouli Drops Bombshell: Baahubali Epic, Not Re-Release

Director SS Rajamouli has clarified that Baahubali: The Epic is not just a re-release of Baahubali: The Beginning or Baahubali 2: The Conclusion. Instead, it is a reimagined presentation, where both films are cut together into a single grand narrative.

The announcement has stirred fresh excitement among fans. Released first in 2015, Baahubali: The Beginning changed Indian cinema forever. With its world-class visuals and massive storytelling, it took Telugu cinema beyond borders. Its sequel in 2017 pushed boundaries further, becoming a milestone for Indian box office history. Rajamouli has explained that this new version has been recut, remastered, and fine-tuned for today’s audience.
