Lenin Success: Tears On Stage, Hikes In Payment
When the film got above-average talk, and when the theatres started to fill with more crowds, and when her glamour act along with emotional acting prowess won appreciation

She broke into emotional tears and later stated in an interview that she was upset when people called her Iron Leg, as her films didn’t do well earlier.
While the audience is yet to recover from the emotional quake Bhagyasree pushed them into, producers are already feeling the aftershocks. After the way her maiden film “Mr Bachhan” exploded for the kind of glamorous treat she offered, Bhagyasree is said to have started charging a crore per film. Now that Lenin has given her success too, she’s said to be asking around ₹2.5 to 3 crores per film for the new offerings.
Now that existing top stars like Rashmika Mandanna, Sreeleela, Pooja Hegde and others are asking simply above ₹4 crore and up to ₹6 crore, Bhagyasree’s quote is comparatively low. However, for makers who thought that they would control budgets of movies, it’s impossible if they have to hike the remuneration as asked by a heroine. If one doesn’t pay, the other producer will pay, and that rushed competition is resulting in hikes.
