The grand pre-release event of Mass Jathara in Hyderabad. Suriya attended as chief guest and one of the highlights was director Bhanu Bhogavarapu’s emotional speech. This film marks his debut as a director and he expressed his happiness.

Bhanu first appreciated the film’s producer, Naga Vamsi and his honest judgement about movies. He said that Naga Vamsi is known as a tough critic who always tells the truth about a film’s quality. He said he is like a combination of top review sites like Tupaki and others. According to Bhanu, "If Naga Vamsi likes a movie, then it is definitely a super hit." He also shared that Naga Vamsi praised the second half of Mass Jathara even before the first half was fully completed and he is confident that first half will also be eye feast.

Talking about his opportunity to direct Ravi Teja, Bhanu said, "I am thankful to Ravi Teja garu’s fans. I am one among you. I came from the audience to this stage."

He expressed how much he admires Suriya, saying, "I really love Suriya garu’s movies. I am happy that he attended this event."

He described Ravi Teja as someone who gives new directors a big chance. Bhanu said, "Ravi Teja garu is like a university that introduces directors. I thank him for giving me a seat in that university. I hope I pass with distinction."

Bhanu also appreciated Rajendra Prasad’s comedy timing by saying his role in the movie will definitely surprise everyone. He added, "Sreeleela played a character named Tulasi. You will see a powerful mass side of her." He concluded with excitement, saying, "October 31 is not just your wait, it is my wait too."
