AI-Visuals Troubling VFX Of Big Film?

The arrival of AI-based image generation and, slowly, AI-based video generation has changed the way films are being made. First, everyone was scared, but slowly they adapted to using AI visuals for various scenes, especially to create backgrounds and other digital extensions. But that became a headache for a big movie now.

Apparently, a big hero’s film is full of VFX, and the makers have opted for a couple of studios in Hyderabad that failed to deliver the needful. But a new studio that wanted to use AI and deliver visuals has jumped in, and they have given some impressive work. But now, when the full film is watched together, the AI visuals are cleaner, stunning and impressive, but the traditional CGI work done by other studios is now looking inferior in front of that. Now the makers want to tone down the AI visuals such that the whole film looks polished and even.

As the film has already been delayed and there are only a couple of months left for the proposed release date, surely they want to take a final call on this soon. Either they should have used the full-length AI-based proprietary visuals, or they should have got the real quality with a blend of AI and traditional VFX, right from the beginning.

When creating new worlds, the first thing one should take care of is about the VFX part only, rather than thinking about casting, set work and other aspects.
