Chiranjeevi Goes Prabhas’ Way!

Slowly, the way films are being promoted by big stars and directors is changing. While the likes of SS Rajamouli go all out in terms of giving interviews, sharing pre-recorded chats, and then going full-on at the national level, there are also movies like Jawaan and Dhurandhar that didn’t go even for a single promotional event, though they collected more than ₹1000 crores gross.

Already, big Telugu stars are not giving interviews to Telugu media, though they are seen promoting their films in Bollywood and the national media big time. The likes of Vijay Devarakonda and others have joined this already. But this time, Prabhas has stopped that as well, as he didn’t promote The Raja Saab with any outside interviews. Only a recorded conversation of him with Sandeep Reddy Vanga came out.

Even Megastar Chiranjeevi is going the same way now with Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu, it looksl ike. While Anil Ravipudi is giving interviews and going on tours, Chiranjeevi will not take part in any media meets or interviews, they say. Only the senior star has attended the pre-release event and later shared his excitement in videos, but despite the film likely to join the ₹300 crores club, he’s not giving interviews.

Industry insiders are saying that if Chiranjeevi interacts with media folks and starts promoting aggressively, that will be a truly good sign. Which otherwise, even other small heroes might take this as an example to avoid promotions altogether.
