Another Telugu Anchor Expresses Wish To Step In Politics

Telugu actors always keep an eye on active politics, and some of them have entered political offices too. Joining that brigade are some of the Telugu anchors, especially females, who have made inroads into various political parties and found some work. Here’s Ariyana Glory, another popular lady anchor, wishing to step into politics.

From the likes of Shyamala, who is currently super active in the YSR Congress Party, to newsreader Rani Rudrama, who has contested an election and lost, and to Udayabhanu, many star anchors have tasted and are tasting politics big time. Right now, Ariyana is expressing her desire strongly that she would like to contest elections, either as an MLA or at least a ward councillor too.

The TV show anchor, who shot to fame after her controversial glamour interview with Ram Gopal Varma, and later even took part in Bigg Boss Telugu reality show, hasn’t declared a specific constituency or political party that she wants to get associated with. But she felt that staying in public service would allow her to address key problems faced by citizens.

Though polls are years away in the Telangana region, it looks like Ariyana is sending a message to political parties to make use of her services. Apart from show-hosting, Ariyana is also busy as an actor these days, while she keeps herself engaged on social media as well.
