Bollywood Actors Getting Wasted By Telugu Directors

Back then, only ‘heroines’ used to come from Mumbai, but now it has became pan-india market for Telugu films, and our makers are continuously running after actors from Tamil, Malayalam, and Bollywood as well to bring hype to their movies. In recent times, some popular Bollywood actors made their Telugu debut, but then, they haven’t created any impact.

Whether that is Mirzapur fame Divyendu Sharma in Peddi, Kill movie fame Raghav Juyal in The Paradise or the once celebrated romantic star Emraan Hashmi in #OG, surely the directors have pretty much under-utilised them. They are brought in to do antagonist roles, but their presence is not only limited, but their appeal also got limited due to badly crafted roles.

Not that they are great performers, but then, Telugu producers are paying crores to get them onboard, but the directors are using them merely for promotions. Once we look inside the movie, other than a few elevation shots and some dialogues, these actors don’t even have arcs, emotional investment or stunning applause for their roles. For such roles, it’s better to rope in local actors rather than making a big buzz out of Bollywood findings.

Well, rather than spending crores for Bollywood actors when they are no plans to utilise them to the fullest, it’s better to save that money either for making or promotions.
