Bollywood’s top beauties, Tabu, Raveena Tandon, Shilpa Shetty, and Kajol Devgn, are making a stylish comeback to Tollywood.

Tabu has been part of Telugu films for years, including Ninne Pelladata, Iruvar, Kandukondain Kandukondain, and recently Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, which marked her big comeback to Tollywood. After taking a break, she returned to mother roles and is now back again with Puri Jagannath and Vijay Sethupathi’s film. Rumor has it she might also appear in Nag 100, marking another big collaboration; their 1996 cult hit Ninne Pelladata is still a favorite among moviegoers.

Raveena Tandon started in Tollywood with Radha Saradhi and made a mark with Bangaru Bullodu starring Nandamuri Balakrishna. Fans still remember her dance in Swathilo Mutyamantha. She also did several other South films. Now she’s set for Suriya’s upcoming #Suriya46 and will play PM Modi’s mother in the biopic Maa Vande. Her work shows that age is no barrier when it comes to strong roles.

Kajol Devgn, after acting in 1997's Minsara Kanavu and making a comeback with Velaiilla Pattadhari 2 in 2017, took another long break after the movie flopped. Rumor has it she’s listening to scripts now and might return under her husband Ajay Devgn’s banner if the project is right.

Shilpa Shetty has acted in South films across languages, Khushi in Tamil in 2000, in Telugu with Saahasa Veerudu Sagara Kanya in 1996, and a few others. She appeared recently in the Kannada film KD: The Devil, which flopped, but while promoting it, she mentioned she’s excited to work in South cinema again.

Out of all of them, Tabu seems to be leading the way with multiple films lined up. These ladies are proving that senior Bollywood actresses can still make waves in the South, especially in Tollywood.
