Hanuman In Ramayan: Bollywood Must Not Mess It Up!

The last time Bollywood made a cinematic adoption of Ramayana, they delivered Adipurush. This did not end well, as the film turned out to be one of the biggest disasters. The powerful sentiment of Prabhu Sriram was utterly wasted in this film, and the director of the film Om Raut was brutally trolled for the same.

However, Bollywood is back at it again as they are making another ad adoption of Ramayana this time around with the same title and they have on board Ranbir Kapoor and Kannada Star Yash this time.

Sunny Deol is playing the role of Lord Hanuman in director Nitesh Tiwari’s upcoming epic film Ramayana. Ranbir Kapoor is playing Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi is Sita, and Yash is Ravana. The film is being made in two parts. The first part is expected to release around Diwali 2026.

Reports say Sunny Deol will appear only for about 15 minutes in Part 1. His screen time is short, but the makers are planning a bigger role for him in Part 2. Though it’s a brief appearance in the beginning, his character of Hanuman is expected to be powerful and impactful.

The film is a big-budget project and is being made with grand visuals and VFX. Fans are excited to see Sunny Deol as Hanuman on the big screen.

The core factor here is that Hanuman is a crucial role in the epic of Ramayana, and the audience will be expecting him to be a part of the film from start to end. Also, it must be noted that Hanuman is one of the true mass gods, and his presence can absolutely electrify a film to the fullest.
