Bollywood Spy Formula: No Magic, No Logic!

Back in the day, Bollywood cinema was widely popular for making the most explosive and forward kind of action films. But that is not even the case with their standard formula that is being imposed for their spy oriented films, these days.

This is again evident if we look at the kind of approach that has been taken towards the recently released teaser of War 2 featuring NTR and Hrithik Roshan.

In the recent past, we have seen films like War, Pathaan, and now War 2 all of which are following the exact same formula. The thing about these film says that they have been picking an almost similar backdrop and also kind of narrative that is expected.

Mandatory that is being followed by Bollywood with regard to this films is that they have been consistently casting to star heroes for the two important roles. This is followed by a hot looking heroine, who will have a bikini shot in the film.

And then there are this trademark action shots of both heroes, jumping from planes and fighting to their fullest capabilities whenever possible.

This has become a standard formula for all the spy action films in Bollywood in recent times, and the same appears to be the case with the upcoming film of NTR and Hrithik Roshan as well. There is no originality or fresh process that is being incorporated into these kind of films now.
