2025 has truly started off for the Indian cinema with multiple new films, arriving at the box office in the first two months itself. Here is a look at the data compiled based on the number of bookings done on online ticketing platform, BookMyShow.

The list is expectedly topped by Bollywood star Vicky Kaushal, who is testing remarkable commercial success with his latest film Chhaava. This film is on a proxy run in the north Indian market, and it is rightly reflecting in the box office performance of the periodic historic action film.

Recent Telugu film Sankranthi Ki Vasthunnam is also rightly on the second position on the list. This film has sold 3.59 million tickets. We have Game Changer and Daaku Maharaaj which are also on the list.

It can be noted that four out of the top 10 films on this list are from the Telugu film industry, which shows that Tollywood is one of the biggest contributing factors for Indian cinema in terms of theatrical revenues.
