Director Harish Shankar is still holding the mics at the press conferences and inside the studios of media houses, promoting Ustaad Bhagat Singh big time. Rather than acknowledging the flaws, the director is still blatantly promoting the film, saying that youth and family audiences are enjoying Ustaad very well in theatres. It's being implied that the ₹80 crores gross collection so far is a result of this. And these acts are reminding people of the ‘already caution kiya’ moments. Read on.

Earlier we had director Boyapati Sreenu, who has consistently delivered some flops with all other stars, resulting in big losses for the makers, while delivering believable movies with Nandamuri Balakrishna. But with Akhanda 2, he has proven that even the hyped Balakrishna-Boyapati combo could result in a flop too. However, Boyapati later went on to say that the film was a blockbuster of epic proportions and claimed big on TV interviews.

Coming to Harish Shankar now, he delivered good films with Raviteja (Mirapakay), Sai Dharam Tej (Subramanyam For Sale) and Varun Tej (Gaddalakonda Ganesh), but the flop show of Mr Bachhan is so hard that Ustaad is facing the aftereffects now. However, when everyone thought that Gabbar Singh combo would deliver a sure shot, he too missed the result, but made the same promotional stunts.

All it takes is just one moment of realisation for both Boyapati and Harish that age-old cocktail commercial content is not clicking anymore, and brushing it hard on fans in the name of fan-service won’t enthral them, but agitates them.
