Brahmastra 2: Tall Claims Aren’t Helping The Film

Back then, when the film “Brahmastra” was released, it wasn’t well received. Though it was planned as the “Baahubali” of Bollywood, and none other than SS Rajamouli also promoted it, the film didn’t open in South India, while in Bollywood it made money. Despite being a financial failure, the director of the film, Ayan Mukerji, went ahead with the sequel as planned.

The latest update is that the film will not be taking off as planned. Looking at the way the story has turned out and the kind of investment it requires, especially after looking at the quality of films like Ramayana and Toxic, surely Brahmastra 2 should spend more than needed. Unable to pull off such a huge budget for a story that no one is sure about, the studio behind the film is said to have walked out. Despite Ayan Mukerji claiming that the story of Part 2 is more thrilling, stunning and great, somehow the film has already been halted twice.

On the other hand, after looking at the results of films like Toxic, Ramayana and even Fauzi in the coming days, some of the highest-budgeted films that are coming to the box office way, surely Brahmastra 2 makers might get clarity over the same. However, studios should believe the content and invest accordingly, rather than calculating equations all the time.
