Brahmastra 2: Hero Turns Powerful Villain

In the highly anticipated sequel, Brahmastra Two, Ranveer Singh is set to take on the significant role of Dev, rumored to be the main antagonist. This announcement has stirred excitement among fans who have been eagerly awaiting news about this crucial character.

Although names like Yash and Hrithik Roshan were previously speculated for the role, it seems that Ranveer Singh has been finalized for the part. The film's director, Ayan Mukerji, currently occupied with his project War 2, is expected to begin work on Brahmastra Two after completing his ongoing commitments.

The scriptwriting for the sequel is underway, and the shooting is projected to commence around 2025. The first installment of Brahmastra, released in September 2022, featured Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in leading roles, leaving fans curious about the characters of Dev and Amrita.

While glimpses of Deepika Padukone as Amrita were teased in the climax, Dev's role remained shrouded in mystery. However, recent reports suggest that Ranveer Singh will portray Dev, purportedly being depicted as Ranbir's on-screen father in Brahmastra Part Two.
