At 77, Veteran Martial Arts Legend Dies

The Hong Kong film industry’s actor Bruce Leung Siu-Lung, aged 77, has played that role and become world famous. Such a towering personality he is, he breathed his last a week ago.
Reports have come out late that on January 14, 2025, Siu-Lung passed away due to cardiac arrest, at his hometown in Shenzhen, China. Along with the likes of Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan, Siu-Lung is considered to be a famous person of the golden era of martial arts films. He’s considered to be one of the four dragons of Hong Kong Cinema.
Kickstarting his career in the 1970s, Siu-Lung shot to fame with TV series like The Legendary Folk, where he played the role of patriotic hero Chen Zhen. After taking a break from films for a decade, he came back to movies in the 90s, then delivered his 2004 act as an antagonist named Beast in the movie Kung Fu Hustle.
While the veteran star expired on 14th January, his colleagues confirmed the news of his death only on the 18th, and finally tributes started pouring in from the likes of Jackie Chan and Stephen Chow the other day. Currently, his family is planning for a grand farewell ceremony, which might take place on January 26 in Shenzhen, China.
