The first glimpse of Peddi, released as the "First Shot" teaser, received a fantastic response on social media. The teaser impressed fans and raised expectations for the film. Later, the song Chikiri was released and became very popular among mass audiences. The song quickly turned into a chartbuster and added more excitement around the movie. Trailer also received decent talk.
During a recent promotional event in Tamil Nadu, director Buchi Babu Sana spoke emotionally about his journey and the people who inspired him. He shared how unbelievable it feels to work with legendary music composer A.R. Rahman.
Buchi Babu said, "As a child, I could not even pronounce the word 'music' properly. I never imagined even in my dreams that one day I would work with A.R. Rahman sir."
Speaking about Ram Charan, the director expressed his admiration and confidence in the actor. He said, "PEDDI means only Charan sir, and Charan sir means PEDDI."
Buchi Babu also spoke about actor Vijay Sethupathi, whom he considers one of his favorite personalities in the film industry. He shared, "My favorite person is Vijay Sethupathi sir. Every time I come to Chennai, he invites me to his home."
