Pushpa 2 Heats Up: Sanjay Dutt Joins the Cast?

Sanjay Dutt's foray into South Indian cinema continues to be a winning streak. After his impactful performance in the Kannada blockbuster K.G.F: Chapter 2, then with the recently released Tamil film 'Leo' starring Vijay, and now with his upcoming project, Puri Jagannadh's directorial 'Double iSmart' featuring Ram Pothineni.

The latest buzz surrounding him is that he is in talks to join the cast of Allu Arjun's highly anticipated 'Pushpa 2: The Rule'.

This news comes as director Sukumar seeks to expand Pushpa's reach beyond its South Indian roots. The sequel promises to be a grander affair compared to the first film, with lavish production values. According to speculation in Bollywood media circles, Sanjay Dutt has been approached for a special cameo appearance. While an official confirmation from Sanjay Dutt is awaited, his potential involvement has certainly piqued the interest of fans.

With a target release date of August 15th to coincide with India's Independence Day weekend, Sukumar is reportedly aiming for a swift shooting schedule for Pushpa: The Rule. The film stars Allu Arjun alongside Rashmika Mandanna, with Devi Sri Prasad composing the music. Mythri Movie Makers are bankrolling this big-budget project.

Meanwhile, Sanjay Dutt also has the Kannada film KD - The Devil on his filming slate.
