In 2011, she took on a role in the Kannada film "Vishnu," describing it as significantly different from her real-life personality. This paved the way for her appearance in the Kannada film "Godfather" alongside Upendra, directed by Sethu Sriram.

Notably, Catherine portrayed the character of an older mentally challenged woman, a role that earned her a nomination for Best Supporting Actress at the 60th Filmfare Awards South.
