While the film is preparing for release in a week from now, something interesting is happening with the unit and it has something to do with the censor formalities for the film. Apparently, the makers are in a dilemma about the kind of certification that the film would get from the censor board.
The dilemma is that the film obviously has a few adult scenes and at the same time, it has certain degree of healthy comedy and entertainment as well. Having Vishwak Sen in the role of a transgender woman is going to be the main highlight of the film, and this is where the adult part comes up.
The dilemma for the unit is that what kind of certification must they be aiming for. If the department allocate A certificate for the film, then should they chop out the adult rated scenes and go for U/A certificate? In that case, would the intensity of the adult comedy, which is the core of the film go down? Then what is the purpose of making the film in the first place?
Or else should they aim for the family audience, and be satisfied with the U/A certificate that is given by the word? The main point of discussion is coming here regarding the nature of the certification that they should be going for. Whether or not, they should aim at the family audience by going for a clean U/A certificate.
The film is yet to be officially censored by the board. But in the meanwhile, the makers are already confused about the nature of the certification that they should be aiming for. This is a very strange and peculiar situation that is being observed by the makers of this Vishwak Sen film.
