On Jagapathi Babu’s talk show Jayammu Nischayammuraa, Chaitanya opened up about a playful yet unexpected moment in his life with wife Sobhita Dhulipala. The nickname “Bujji”, a word of affection, once led to a few silent days between them. What seemed simple turned into a misunderstanding, showing how even small things can stir up waves in love.
Chaitanya explained the dispute with a smile. Sobhita was upset, thinking he had asked the director to include “Bujji Thalli” in his film without her knowing. “Why would I do that?” he said, laughing while recalling the moment. For him, it became proof that disagreements are part of a real relationship. “A relationship isn’t real if the couple doesn’t fight,” he added, sharing this personal story with warmth and humour.
The actor also shared how their romance began. It started casually on Instagram when Sobhita commented on a post about his cloud kitchen. From that online chat grew a connection that led to real-life meetings. After two years of dating, they tied the knot quietly in December 2024 at Annapurna Studios, Hyderabad. Chaitanya’s openness gave fans a glimpse of a modern love story, one that began in the digital world but grew deeply personal.
In a rapid-fire segment, Chaitanya said without hesitation that he cannot live without Sobhita. “I wouldn’t trade my life with anyone else’s. I’m happy where I am,” he said. Off-screen, his personal life is thriving, and on-screen too, Chaitanya is shining. His recent film Thandel became his first Rs 100-crore hit after some challenging years, making fans celebrate his journey of love and success together.
