Everyone connected to every single emotion in Thandel - Chandoo Mondeti

Thandel starring Yuvasamrat Naga Chaitanya, Sai Pallavi and directed by Chandoo Mondeti released on 7th February to a rousing reception. The movie is heading towards Rs.100 crores gross at the box office and it has already become highest grosser in Chaitanya's career. Director Chandoo spoke with media about the success.

He stated that people connected to every single emotion in the film. He explained that he got messages about expanding on Pakistan episode but we had to cut few things out due to censorship. "Almost 30% of emotion had to be cut out due to censorship. But we do not have any issue with it," said Chandoo.

Later, he stated that is happy for his friend Naga Chaitanya as a friend. "I always imagined every shot and made sure that we concentrate on Chaitu's eyes in the wedding card scene. I'm glad he is receiving such huge praises for his sincere efforts. I'm happy as the director, friend and well-wisher for him," said the director.

He revealed that no one else could understand the film like Devi Sri Prasad on paper and thanked him for blockbuster music. He praised Geetha Arts management, mainly producer Bunny Vasu and presenter Allu Aravind for pushing him to achieve the maximum emotion. He stated that he saw it as a love story only after discussing with them.

He further stated that he received major compliments from Nani and Ram for delivering a double blockbuster. He expressed his great pleasure in hearing compliments from legend Raghavendra Rao and thanked Nagarjuna for his remarkable response. He stated that he will cherish every moment of Thandel forever.
