Talented Young Director Aiming For Megastar!

Chandoo Mondeti is one director who showed versatility in stories and taking right from the start of his career. His first film 'Karthikeya' is a mystery thriller with a devotional backdrop. It was a super hit and received a lot of critical acclaim as well. He remade 'Premam' with Naga Chaitanya after that. It is a tough task to remake such a popular classic but he pulled it off successfully by adding a few personal touches.

His next film 'Savyasachi' ended up as a disappointment but he bounced by scoring a pan-Indian success like 'Karthikeya 2'. The film was a massive hit and he is now doing an interesting film titled 'Thandel' which has Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi in the lead. It is based on the life of fishermen. According to reports, Chandoo Mondeti is planning something huge for his next film after 'Thandel'. Apparently, he is trying to narrate a story to Megastar Chiranjeevi.

With Allu Aravind producing 'Thandel' and Chandoo's good friend Nikhil working under Ram Charan's production right now, the young director has access to Megastar. He met Chiranjeevi once and sources claim that the discussions are going on right now. It is yet to be confirmed but Chandoo is busy with the production of 'Thandel' right now.

If Balakrishna's 109th film, 'Game Changer' and 'Pushpa 2' arrive in December, 'Thandel' may either get preponed or postponed. There are plans of 'Karthikeya 3' as well but Nikhil is busy with 'Swayambhu' and 'The India House' right now. After 'Vishwambhara', Megastar is yet to give a green signal to other scripts. Harish Shankar is apparently the frontrunner. Megastar is expected to announce his next by 22nd August which is his birthday.
