‘Chennai Love Story’ Has No Issue With JN

On July 23rd, hero Kiran Abbavaram wants to prove his mettle big time with “Chennai Love Story”. As the film is being directed by “Baby” fame Sai Razesh, there are a lot of expectations for its box office performance. However, as the name has Chennai in it, the makers of the film thought that they would score a first hit in Tamil Nadu as well. But then, Superstar Vijay’s film Jana Nayagan turned out to be the major hurdle.

After getting Censor Hurdles cleared, Vijay’s Jana Nayagan also locked 23rd July as the release date. Now that the clash is so big, Chennai Love Story must brace for the big shock at the Tamil Nadu box office. So what are the makers of Chennai Love Story actually thinking about this? Chennai Love Story makers are not worried about the clash with Jana Nayagan in Tamil Nadu, though they had thought of a big release there. They say that the clash is inevitable, but they expressed confidence that every film will have its own market.

On the other hand, though the season of July is not have big films, the sudden success of Lenin and the arrival of The Odyssey might create some tension for Chennai Love Story in A-centres. But if the film gets blockbuster talk, then surely none can stop it. On the other than, Dil Raju is said to be planning Jana Nayagan Telugu release also, making another clash on 23rd.
