Chaava, featuring Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles is going absolutely bonkers at the box office and it is projected to collect over ₹500 crore at the global box office.

The film is projected to set new records in the Maharashtra belt, which is always the expected case, considering the fact that it runs on the super strong Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj sentiment, which is particularly Parliament in the Maratha belt.

However, despite all the box office credentials that the film has projected to achieve, there is one major complaint about the kind of restriction that went into the marketing.

For some odd reason, the makers of this insanely prospective Hindu film decided not to release it in South Indian languages. This comes at a time when there is a lot of demand to release the film in the Telugu states in the Telugu dubbed version.

However, the makers perhaps felt that the originality of the narration and visual presentation will go missing if the film is dubbed in other languages. This is the only logical reason as to why they avoided dubbing and releasing the film in multiple languages.

But nevertheless, the film is reporting, pretty impressive revenues even in tier two cities and towns across the Telugu states. The kind of box office enigma that it is creating despite the lack of availability of dubbed version is beyond ordinary.

The film is now projected to collect over ₹500 crore globally. But this could have been amplified substantially if the dubbed versions were also released. There is a chance it could have gone even to the ₹600 crore mark with the dubbed versions.
