Kota and I started career at same time - Megastar Chiranjeevi

Megastar Chiranjeevi, in his almost 5 decades long career had a very close relationship with legendary actor Kota Srinivasa Rao. In many of his cult blockbusters, Kota Srinivasa Rao had unforgettable roles and they shared many moments as friends, too.

Chiranjeevi shared some anecdotes and his condolences at Kota's residence. He stated that they both have started their film careers with same film, Pranam Kareedu, at same time. He shared that while he loved working with Kota on screen, their off screen bonding is even more precious.

The actor further stated that Kota Srinivasa Rao always used to make everyone around him laugh with his jokes, his style of sarcasm and he used to love the great actor's company. He further remembered how their scenes would be fun to shoot in his combination every time and how, Kota used to add nuances to enhance them, in his style.

Chiranjeevi extended his condolences to the family and remarked that there would not be another actor as versatile as Kota in future. He hoped his family to find strength to overcome his loss.
