Recently, in a movie event he said that he wants to stay away from politics. Also, during the same event, when host Suma brought up his granddaughter Klin Kaara topic, she jokingly said, "We haven't fully seen Klin Kaara’s photo, but she looks just like her grandfather."

Chiranjeevi then humorously added, "When I am at home, I don’t feel like I am with my granddaughters. Instead, I feel like a warden in a ladies' hostel. There are only girls around me, not a single boy. I request Chara to make sure to have a boy next time. So that our legacy must continue." He further said, "But my son loves daughters a lot. That’s why I fear he might have another girl."
