Finally, Some Relief For Chiranjeevi @ Court: Here�s Why!

For a long time, now, there have been a few legal reprimands that have been concerning mega Star Chiranjeevi. But finally, this issue has been cleared, and Chiranjeevi has been provided with some positive news.

The Telangana High Court has given relief to actor Chiranjeevi in a long-pending case related to construction work at his Jubilee Hills residence.

Chiranjeevi originally received permission for a G+2 house in 2002. In 2016, he applied to the GHMC under a regularisation scheme for modifications made later. However, for nearly nine years, the GHMC failed to act on his application.

In a recent order, the High Court directed the GHMC Commissioner to review Chiranjeevi�s application and take appropriate action. The court said that if additional documents or clarifications are needed, they should be requested from Chiranjeevi and a decision must be made in a reasonable time.

Previously, in March 2023, the High Court had stayed any new construction at the site due to a dispute between Chiranjeevi and the Jubilee Hills Housing Society over 595 square yards of land. That matter is still pending.

With this new court direction, the GHMC is now required to process Chiranjeevi�s 2016 application fairly and without delay, bringing some clarity to a long-standing issue over the regularisation of his home renovations.
