Ram Charan and Sukumar’s RC 17 Begins with a Grand Pooja Ceremony

The much-awaited combination of Global Star Ram Charan and creative director Sukumar is back. Their new film, tentatively titled RC 17, has officially started with a grand pooja ceremony in Hyderabad on November 1, 2026.

The film brings together the successful team behind Rangasthalam which became a major blockbuster and won the hearts of audiences.

The film is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers. Several film industry personalities attended the grand launch event. Megastar Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan’s father, was the chief guest at the ceremony. He gave the first clap for the movie and officially launched the project.

The film’s launch was delayed due to the busy schedules of Ram Charan and Sukumar. Ram Charan’s surgery also reportedly contributed to the delay. However, the team has now started the project, and regular shooting is expected to begin soon.

Ram Charan impressed audiences with his unforgettable performance as Chitti Babu in Rangasthalam. The film showed his acting talent in a completely different way.

Now Sukumar is reportedly preparing another powerful character for the actor. The director is said to have worked hard on the script and is planning to present Ram Charan in a never-before-seen role.

The movie is expected to be made on a grand scale and released across India. However, the makers have not yet revealed the film’s heroine or other cast members.

Another interesting update has created excitement among fans. Sukumar’s wife, Tabitha shared a special video before the film’s launch.

The video featured music by popular composer Anirudh Ravichander. This has led to strong speculation that Anirudh may be the music director for RC 17. However, the makers have not officially confirmed the music director yet.
