I am proud at the same time jealous of Charan - Chiranjeevi

Megastar Chiranjeevi had a Conversation with Mega Power Star Ram Charan's super blockbuster Peddi team. He revealed that he is very proud of the film but he is also slightly jealous of Ram Charan for being able to find such incredible roles. He said, "Peddi is a lifetime role for an actor and Charan did a fantastic job to live as character on screen."

Further he praised Ram Charan stating, "As an actor I know how it is hard to make it look believable on screen. At times, I forgot that I am watching Charan on screen and believed he is indeed Peddi. Such is the performance and I always wanted such scripts after watching Chak De India, Dangal I felt we should do such films. Finally, we did!"

Chiranjeevi expressed his happiness about the hardwork of Charan being rewarded globally. He said, "When you give your blood and soul, if it ends up wasted you get depressed. I know Charan had an eye injury and he has ended up with a torn injury in his right wrist but the reward he is getting across the world for his hardwork makes it all worth it. Makes us all proud family members."

He praised AR Rahman's background score, Producer Venkata Satish Kilaru's high-end production values and Buchi Babu Sana's conviction in making Peddi. He said, "Peddi is not one person's brilliance everyone stood out, especially, Jagapathi Babu and Shiva Rajkumar had great impact. I am happy that audiences are receiving such an inspiring story with open arms." The movie has become South India's highest grosser of the Year and continuing to dominate the box office.
