After almost ten years away, he returned, did a couple of films, and seems busier than many younger heroes. His next one, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, is already making noise even before the trailer. The first song Meesala Pilla took off faster than expected, and fans are buzzing, wondering what the next tracks will sound like. Most of the shoot is wrapped, and the team is quietly getting everything ready for Sankranti. Anil Ravipudi is handling the film, and he seems pretty confident too.
The big talk everywhere is the rumour that Chiru is taking Rs 72 crore as remuneration. Usually, he goes for a share instead of a fixed amount, but this time he’s taking the full thing. On top of that, his daughter Sushmitha Konidela is said to be getting half of the film’s profits. A few moviegoers were a bit shocked, saying this amount is more than the entire budget of a mid-range film. But Shine Screens, Sahu Garapati’s banner, is not worried at all. Ravipudi’s last Sankranti outing crossed Rs 300 crore, so they’re confident a Megastar film can go much higher. Everyone’s curious to see how the numbers turn out.
Nayanthara is playing the female lead, which adds a nice bit of weight to the film. Bheems’ music is working well so far; the first single caught on quickly, and fans are impatiently refreshing for the second one. It feels like the team knows they already have some momentum and are trying not to overhype things.
