Chiranjeevi’s latest Sankranthi release Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu is continuing its successful run at the box office. Adding to the good news for movie lovers, regular ticket prices have now been restored in theatres across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. From today, audiences can watch the film on the big screen without paying extra festive rates, making it easier for families to enjoy the movie.

The announcement was shared by film trade analyst Vamsi Shekar, who confirmed that theatres have brought ticket prices back to normal. The makers are confident that this move will attract more footfalls, especially during the ongoing Sankranthi holiday season. The colourful poster featuring Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara also highlights the “Mega Sankranthi Blockbuster” tag, encouraging fans to enjoy the film at affordable prices.

At the box office, Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu has already crossed a major milestone. By day 10, the film collected over ₹250 crore worldwide, making it the highest-grossing movie in Chiranjeevi’s career. It has successfully surpassed his earlier hits like Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy and Waltair Veerayya.

In India, the film has earned around ₹175.65 crore net so far, which comes to nearly ₹208.50 crore gross. Though collections saw a slight slowdown after the strong opening week, the film continues to hold steady. Overseas collections have also crossed the $4.5 million mark, pushing the global total higher.

Trade experts believe the film is now moving towards the Telugu cinema all-time top 10 highest-grossing list. With the second weekend approaching and ticket prices reduced, the film has a good chance to cross ₹275 crore worldwide soon.

Directed by Anil Ravipudi, Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu is a mass action entertainer made in classic Chiranjeevi style. Apart from Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara, the film also features an extended cameo by Daggubati Venkatesh. Released ahead of Sankranthi on January 12, the film continues to enjoy strong audience support.
