Chiranjeevi must not miss Sankranti this time!

Megastar Chiranjeevi was supposed to arrive in theatres this Sankranti festival season as upcoming budget film Vishwambhara was announced for release during this Sankranti season. However, this film had to get postponed in order to make way for Ram Charan’s Game Changer.

However, the latest developments are suggesting that Chiranjeevi is in no mood to miss out on the 2026 Sankranti season at any cost. After having tested substantial success during the 2023 season in the form of Waltair Veerayya, Chiranjeevi appears to have understood that this Sankranti festival season is of 20 essential importance for him.

After having missed out on 2025, Sankranti due to unforeseen reasons, it is now being established that Chiranjeevi is determined to have a new release coming Sankranthi. He has given clear instructions to Director Anil Ravipudi in this regard.

The plan that is in motion for this film is that the shooting will start by this summer as confirmed by Chiranjeevi already. And this will be followed by a quick production, planning, and execution in order to make sure that this shooting is completed by December.

Once the shooting is done, the film will be prepared for release during the 2026 Sankranti season. In order to meet this timeline, the post production must happen simultaneously with the shoot, and this is the arrangement that is being made by the makers of this commercial action drama film.

Anil had already promised to deliver the very best of Chiranjeevi with his vintage comedy timing, and we can expect him to make full use of the Sankranti season again.

Chiranjeevi is also in great need of commercial success at the box office, and he would be certainly hurting that director Anil would be doing a job for him this time around.
