Working With Rajamouli? What Chiranjeevi Said?

Megastar Chiranjeevi is one of the elite senior superstars in Indian cinema. Even at this age, he comments considerable attention at the box office and manages to pull the crowds in big numbers.

Coming to the topic now, Chiranjeevi was asked about the prospect of working with iconic Rajamouli in the future, and he had a very clear reaction to the same.

Chiranjeevi stated that Rajamouli usually spends 4 to 5 years on his projects, and this style of elongated film making does not look practical for him. Chiranjeevi practically said that he likes to work on multiple projects at once, and cannot dedicate so much time for a single project.

“As of now, I am working on four project simultaneously. But when it comes to Rajamouli, we must dedicate three or four years only for his project entirely.” Chiranjeevi stated. About the desire to potentially appeal to the pan Indian audience with Rajamouli Chiranjeevi replied “ I don’t have the desire to cater to the pan Indian audiences at this point in my career. I don’t have the desire to go after Rajamouli to make a pan Indian film.” Chiranjeevi concluded.

While what Chiranjeevi said, might sound a bit dismissive for the common audiences and neutral observers, he had a very good point to make. It is a fact that Rajamouli takes a lot of time to materialise his projects, and that does not work for a senior star like Chiranjeevi who likes to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Chiranjeevi is currently occupied with Viswambhara and he has the film with Anil Ravipudi next. He has also lined up films with directors like Bobby and Srikanth Odela.
