2017, 2023, Now 2027: Is Chiranjeevi Following a Winning Formula?

Megastar Chiranjeevi has a strong connection with Sankranthi releases. Several of his films have performed well during the festive season, and now another movie may be joining that successful list. Reports suggest that Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film, tentatively titled Mega 158, is aiming for a grand Sankranthi 2027 release.

Chiranjeevi made a memorable comeback with Khaidi No. 150 in 2017. The film was released during Sankranthi and became a major success at the box office. Years later, in 2023, he repeated the magic with Waltair Veerayya, which turned out to be one of the biggest hits of his career. Now, fans are hoping that Mega 158 will continue this successful festival tradition.

The latest update from the film’s team has created fresh excitement. Director Bobby Kolli recently announced that the Pollachi shooting schedule has been completed successfully. The team reportedly filmed several important scenes featuring Chiranjeevi and other key cast members during this schedule.

According to industry buzz, the makers are working at a fast pace and are confident about bringing the film to audiences during Sankranthi 2027. While an official release date has not yet been announced, expectations are growing among fans.

The project marks the second collaboration between Chiranjeevi and director Bobby Kolli after the success of Waltair Veerayya. Because of their previous blockbuster, fans have high hopes for this new action entertainer.

The film is being produced by Venkat K. Narayana under KVN Productions. Actress Anaswara Rajan has joined the cast, while Nivetha Thomas is also expected to play an important role. Popular music director Thaman is composing the soundtrack.
