A Megastar Chiranjeevi fantasy film, backed by heavy VFX, naturally promises scale, grandeur, and visual awe. But the title teaser of “Vishwambhara” directed by Bimbisara fame Vassishta Mallidi, has been the exact opposite of that. Here’s what the film actually needs, in case it is targeting a June 2026 release as being buzzed.

Rough and inconsistent CGI, with dated visuals and old-school fantasy ideas, have surely disappointed Mega fans when the Vishwambhara teaser came. A Similar thing happened when the Raja Saab teaser came, but with the trailer that was released the other day, the Prabhas film has stunned everyone. Even Vishwambhara needs a similar high-quality makeover.

Already, the delay of the film’s release, as it got postponed from the initial September 2025 to January 2026 release date to an unknown date, one could understand that the team took feedback seriously. But the new VFX should match the quality delivered by The Raja Saab’ latest trailer. Only then will fans feel the real seriousness of epic fantasy and the scale Chiranjeevi and Vassisht wanted to show.

That said, after pan-India Telugu films like Baahubali, Kalki and Mirai gave real spin to the fantasy worlds with amazing VFX, Vishwabhara should aim to hit those standards also.
