Mega Fans Fearing About The Next Director Too!

Movies in the commercial format have proved to be successful once but people are more interested in seeing new and different content. The huge setback of 'Bholaa Shankar' made Megastar realise that remaking regular films from other languages is not a good idea anymore. As we know, there were rumours about his next film being a remake of 'Bro Daddy'.

It is true that Chiru's production company acquired the remake rights but he is not at all interested in remaking it now. Sources say that he asked director Kalyan Krishna is come up with a new story. While all this is good, director Kalyan Krishna Kurasala did not make anything different till date. He had three hits and a flop till date but even his hit films were quite ordinary and run-of-the-mill entertainers like 'Soggade Chinni Nayana', 'Rarandoi Veduka Chuddam' and 'Bangarraju'.

Fans are worrying that he might turn out to be another Meher Ramesh. As we know, 'Soggade Chinni Nayana' is a commercial flick with an age-old story. It is a very safe movie that played to Nag's strengths and ended up being a Sankranti winner.

His film with Naga Chaitanya too had no surprises and was a routine love story with predictable ups and downs. It was a hit due to DSP's songs and a few stand-out scenes. His commercial revenge drama 'Nela Ticket' was a big flip. Despite the bad talk, 'Bangarraju' did good business because of the lack of any other content during the third lockdown.

When it is Megastar who is the hero, a lot of directors are planning to make commercial films. Kalyan Krishna is also expected to make a film on similar lines but the fans want Chiru to make mature movies like Rajnikanth and Kamal Hassan. Let us wait and see what happens.
