Chiru, Venky and 80s Stars gather at a memorable reunion

Megastar Chiranjeevi and Venkatesh have flown to Chennai together for a gracious 80s stars reunion. A total of 31 stars have attended the intimate reunion reflecting genuine camaraderie and solidarity. Hosted by Rajkumar Sethupathy and Sripriya, the gathering saw a galaxy of stars.

The reunion was intentionally scaled back from a grand affair to an intimate and meaningful meeting. The collective decision was made to show unity and empathy following recent events impacting the state. The evening was curated by a dedicated committee of Lissy Lakshmi, Poornima Bhagyaraj, Khushbu Sundar, and Suhasini Maniratnam.

Along Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh, iconic stars like Jackie Shroff, Venkatesh, Prabhu, Revathy, Bhagyaraj, Sarathkumar, Bhanuchander, Suresh, Sumalatha, Nadiya, Jayasudha, Ramyakrishnan, Shobana, Jayaram and several others have attended the event.

​The reunion was characterized by warmth, reflection, and shared memories that transcended language and regional borders. As organiser Suhasini Maniratnam commented, “It wasn’t a night of celebration this time... It was a quiet gathering of friends.” Lissy Lakshmi added that the goal was to “express unity, empathy, and gratitude for the bonds that have outlasted fame and time.”
