The anticipation surrounding global star Ram Charan's upcoming movie, tentatively titled RC16, reached a fever pitch when it was confirmed that Janhvi Kapoor would star alongside him as the female lead. However, the recent buzz surrounding the collaboration has deepened with the resurgence of an old video featuring Ram Charan's father, Chiranjeevi. In the video, during an interview for the release of Chiranjeevi's film Khaidi No.150, the veteran actor expressed his desire for Ram Charan to remake his iconic film, Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari, with Janhvi Kapoor as the heroine.

Chiranjeevi's wish, made nearly seven years ago, seemed like a whimsical desire at the time. However, fate appears to have intervened as Janhvi Kapoor is now set to star opposite Ram Charan in RC16. Although the film isn't a remake of Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari as initially suggested by Chiranjeevi, the prospect of this new collaboration has sent ripples of excitement through the industry and among fans.

RC16, helmed by director Buchi Babu Sana of Uppena fame, promises to be a compelling tale set against the rustic backdrop of Uttarandhra. With esteemed cinematographer Rathnavelu capturing the visuals and Oscar-winning music director AR Rahman composing the soundtrack, the film has all the ingredients for a cinematic spectacle.

As fans eagerly await further updates on RC16, Ram Charan continues to make headlines with his other projects. His upcoming film, Game Changer, directed by S Shankar and featuring a stellar cast including Kiara Advani and SJ Suryah, is expected to unveil exciting updates on the actor's birthday, March 27th. With such promising ventures in the pipeline, Ram Charan's star continues to rise in the world of Telugu cinema.
