141 Additional Screens Added To Vikram's Intense Flick 'Thangalaan'!

Chiyaan Vikram's 'Thangalaan' which was released on 15th August is successfully running in theatres. With 'Double Ismart' and 'Mr Bachchan' disappointing the audience, 'Thangalaan' became a good choice for movie lovers. Though the raw scenes might not be liked by a few, the terrific performances of Vikram, Parvathy and Malavika Mohanan have created a positive buzz on the film.

After the end of its first week run, the demand for the movie increased and the makers officially announced that 141 theatres are added to the film in both Telugu states combined. During the 1st week of its release, the movie was given 95 screens in Nizam and it has 185 screens now. It was 38 in Ceeded and it got increased to 53. The count if Vizag was also increased from 25 to 38. It is increased in all other regions too.

On the whole, the movie was released in 250 theatres in Telugu and it has 391 theatres now which is a huge achievement. As we know, Mythri Movie Makers released it in Telugu. This set in Kolar Gold Fields is based on real events. Pa Ranjith who made 'Kaala', 'Kabali' and 'Sarpatta Parambarai' has written and directed it. KE Gnanavel Raja under the Studio Green Films banner, in association with Neelam Productions has bankrolled it.
