Now, when it comes to Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, very surprisingly, the Tamil reviewers are making different kinds of statements.
A couple of Tamil reviewers who have earlier asked people to watch a dud film like Vijay’s Leo on a giant screen are now saying that one should refrain from going to large screens to watch Christopher Nolan’s movie. They feel that “The Odyssey” has nothing to offer and hence give such advice. In fact, some users are quick to point out that “The Odyssey” has themes like God, Monogamy, and all other good ‘Sanatana Dharma’ kind of aspects, and that might have hurt these Tamil reviewers is what many feel.
At the same time, many Tamil reviewers watched the film in Tamil dubbing, and that might have disturbed their experience too. Those who watched the film in English are going gaga over the slow-burning film that has many high moments and engaging drama, which is both grand and riveting. At the same time, The Odyssey’s openings are grand in India as well.
