250 Crores Spent On Actors' Remuneration Alone?

It is without a doubt that 'Kalki 2898 AD' is one of the costliest films made in India. This movie deals with the time travel concept and is a mix of mythology and fantasy. Touted to be an enthralling experience for movie lovers, there are massive expectations on this project. The makers are releasing constant updates regarding this movie and they are highly impressive so far.

While the release date is yet to be announced, there are a lot of speculations going around the money spent on the remuneration of the actors. Reportedly, Prabhas is getting a massive 150 crores remuneration for his gigantic flick while Deepika Padukone is charging 20 crores. Legendary actors like Kamal Haasan and Amitabh Bachchan are taking 20 crores each according to reports while Disha Patani is given 5 crores.

Including the other cast members and technicians, insiders reveal that the producer spent around 250 crores on remunerations alone. The whole budget of the movie is over 500 crores and it means that half of the money went for remunerations. Prabhas is a huge star and he can bring back the investment easily.
