Director Teja’s Son Cheated By A Couple, Lost ₹72 Lakhs

Cyber crimes are increasing by the day, and what startles people is the way even the educated and elite class are falling prey. After we have seen how former CBI Joint Director Lakshmi Narayana’s wife lost a couple of crores in an alleged online trading fraud, now it's the turn of hotshot director Teja’s son.

Reportedly, Teja’s son Amitov Tej has been duped for ₹72 lakhs by a couple in the name of online trading. Reports have it that Amitov invested a large amount in online trading after the couple convinced him of quick profits through trading. Once the investment was done, the couple changed their phone numbers and disappeared from the scene. Realising that he had been cheated, Amitov approached the police.

Registering a case under the IT Act and for cheating, the police are said to be putting efforts to trace the accused couple. Even though the Telangana police is conducting lots of special drives to educate people about cyber crimes, it looks like the idea of gaining huge profits in a short time is exciting for these people who have fat bank accounts.

On the films front, Teja is getting ready to launch his son Amitov as a hero very soon, and Superstar Mahesh’s niece, Ramesh Babu’s daughter Bharati Ghattamaneni, is likely to play the leading lady. For now, Teja hasn’t issued any statement regarding his son getting duped.
