Prabhas’ Spirit: Daggubati Hero To Join The Cast In A Bold Character

The much-awaited movie Spirit, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga is already one of the most talked about projects in Indian cinema. Starring Prabhas in the lead role, the film promises to show him in a never-before-seen avatar as a fierce and intense police officer who takes on a dangerous mafia syndicate.

According to recent reports, Tollywood circles are buzzing with news that Abhiram Daggubati, brother of Rana Daggubati, might be part of the movie. Sources say he could play a bold and arrogant character with a commanding screen presence. If true, this could be a turning point in Abhiram’s career, adding a powerful dynamic to the film.

Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga known for Arjun Reddy and Animal is said to be putting special effort into Prabhas’ transformation. The actor will soon undergo a look test, as Vanga wants to finalise the hairstyle and body language for his cop avatar. Reports mention that Prabhas has shed extra kilos for the role and will appear in a lean and fit look that will surely impress fans.

Recently, the makers released a one-minute audio teaser in five languages, giving a glimpse of the film’s tone. The teaser featured Prabhas’ intense voice saying, “Since childhood, I have one bad habit,” which sent fans into a frenzy on social media.

The film’s principal shooting is expected to begin in February 2026. Initially, Deepika Padukone was approached for the female lead but later stepped out due to scheduling issues. Triptii Dimri has now joined the cast, marking her debut in Telugu cinema.
