Vyuham Producer Dasari Kiran Arrested Over Loan Dispute

Film producer Dasari Kiran Kumar, famous for producing Ram Gopal Varma's political drama Vyuham, has been arrested by the Hyderabad police. He was detained on behalf of the Patamata police in Vijayawada and was later shifted to Vijayawada for further legal proceedings.

The arrest was made following a complaint from his relative Gajula Mahesh. Mahesh accused Kiran of borrowing 4.5 crore rupees from him two years ago but failing to repay it despite several reminders. According to Mahesh, on August 18, he and his wife visited Kiran's office in Vijayawada to demand the repayment. During this visit, they allege that Kiran, along with around 15 of his associates, physically attacked them.

Based on Mahesh's complaint, the police registered a case and took action, leading to Kiran's arrest. Mahesh, who runs a travel agency, reported the incident to the authorities. Kiran Kumar is known in the industry for his work on Vyuham, a film that gained significant attention when it was released.
