The banning culture which was started a few years back is still relevant. If any product or film is objectionable people are not shying away from demanding a ban or boycott on the films. Many films fell prey to the boycott trend and the makers had to face the heat of the trend.

Adding fuel to the issue, the firebrand leader from Telangana Raja Singh made some crucial comments. The Goshamahal MLA said that the Zee Studios production House should be banned and that issuing an apology would not do anything.

The two controversies made the film face issues. A few FIRs were filed against the makers. With this Zee Studios, the co-producers of the film issued an apology saying that they have no intentions of hurting any sentiments. Netflix also pulled down the film
