Rumour: Pawan’s Political Thriller With Deva Katta

Director Deva Katta is known for his political films that deal with lots of innovative ideas that could reform society. Right from Prasthanam to Republic, his movies always worked out when he dealt with themes that are related to the reformation of society. Irrespective of scoring big blockbusters or making huge revenues, his films became those thought-provoking ideas, but then, big heroes never worked with him.

While Deva Katta meddled with ideas of carving out an invisible friendship drama that’s based on the life and times of Andhra politicians like Chandrababu Naidu and YSR, and bring out a web series under his ‘presentation’, he is now looking forward to come up with a big feature film. Reports are coming that the director is trying to come up with a strong political film and is trying to secure Pawan Kalyan’s time to narrate the story. For the kind of ideas he comes up with, a big star like Pawan Kalyan endorsing the movie as a leading man would provide the right reach for the content.

On the other hand, due to his real-life political commitments, Pawan Kalyan has taken almost 3-4 years to complete his current set of released films, including Hari Hara Veera Mallu, #OG and Ustaad Bhagat Singh. Currently, he has agreed to direct Surender Reddy’s movie, but that film is not yet locked down because the story work is still pending. We have to see if Deva Katta will grab the golden chance to carve out an interesting movie in the backdrop of politics with Pawan Kalyan in the lead.
