Fans Refusing To Believe ‘Devara 2’ Cancelled

“Devara 2 is not at all happening,” and that’s what the film industry says. And then there’s what fans choose to believe that “Devara 2” will happen very soon. Taking to social media, some of the fans are directly reporting even the timelines, schedules, and the release dates around Devara 2.

Apparently, one of the hardcore fans of NTR shared on X.com that “NTR finishes his film with Prashanth Neel, Koratala wraps up his project with Balakrishna, and then both reunite for Devara 2”. Going by the way this tweet is put up, surely it sounds quite believable. However, the talk inside the NTR camp is exactly opposite to this.

Yes, Devara Part 1 did big numbers. The makers projected it close to the ₹900 crore mark. But trade circles never approved of those numbers. More importantly, the film didn’t land the way it was expected to. Reviews were mixed to poor, and even among audiences, the response was far from unanimous, while trollers and memers had a field day after the release. Right now, the talk in industry circles is that Jr NTR isn’t too keen on making a second part. Because sequels don’t run on numbers alone, they run on conviction.
