Despite Complaints, NTR Sticks To Devara 2!

It is already known that the first part of Devara did pretty well at the box office and it turned out to be a decent face saving film for NTR after epic blockbuster, RRR. Now that the first part is done and dusted, there are discussions about the sequel for the film, which was announced earlier.

However, there were doubts about the second part of the film, considering the fact that the first part itself faced a few complaints and complications from fans itself. There were doubts about the production designing of the film, as a few people felt that the product had cheap aesthetics. The hook point leading into the sequel was also not gripping or substantial enough.

But none of this are coming into place as the makers are confidently saying that the film is going to have its sequel soon. Apparently, the script work is happening very quickly now, and the makers are contemplating the idea of taking the sequel on the floors by this July.

In that case, it could more or less be understood that even NTR himself is very much interested in the sequel, and that could be the reason behind the progress in the shooting and preproduction.

At first, there were many doubts about the possibility of the sequel happening in the first place, but that is not even remotely the case now as the sequel is progressing, much quicker than everyone expected.

Reportedly the makers are contemplating the idea of releasing the sequel in the first half of 2026, based on the pace of the shooting. More clarity will emerge once the shooting for the sequel gets underway.
